Another delish night at @franafel & @pinksandii pop-up kitchen 😋 The curry sauce was so flavoursome as well as the sweet potato rounds, and I've finally tried @pinksandii desserts too, the brownie was 👌 Get yourself to @franafel next pop-up you won't be disappointed ✌️
Another Billingham spot @the_porky_pint! I'm not usually a fan of Sunday dinners (don't hate me) but this one was cracking! I went for beef, it wasn't dry and there was plenty too, roasties, mash, veg, pigs in blankets and a yorkshire pud for £8.50. The massive pud was my fave thing on the dinner it wasn't full of air and it was a bit squishy if you know what I mean 😂 All in all it was delish👏 @teessidesundaylunchreviews you should come here!
Another banging lunch at @hopeandunion👏 I can't help but order their runny scotch egg pretty much every time I go🙈
Porridge of dreams this morn😍 Whack 1 apple peeled, 1 pear, a few blackberries sprinkle of sugar and cinnamon into a pan until it goes like this and you'll thank me later👏 It's such a winter warmer - I'll never get sick of porridge!
Popped along to @blocbarbistro launch night tonight for a few cocktails and nibbles🙋 The cocktails were absolutely delish, so full of flavour and strong. The list was huge too and had a lot of their own take on the classics! I love what these guys have done with the decor, it's such a nice spot to go for some drinks and a bite to eat. There will be food too, I believe they are launching their menu tomorrow (don't quote me), but if the nibbles and drinks are anything to go by I think it's going to be a winner 👌 Thanks for the invite!
This afternoon I went to @surfside_restaurant for afternoon tea with a twist! We all chose the afternoon tea with fish and chips 🐟 Such a good idea for people who don't really love traditional afternoon tea or just fancy a change 😊 The fish was beautiful, it was really fresh. The chips were banging and the mushy peas were so good too. You got 2 pieces of fish each which I didn't expect and a big slice of bread but I would of preferred a normal slice of bread just to make a decent sandwich (just my preference). The rocky road was really good but I didn't have the potted dessert, I wasn't blown away by the desserts but for the price I can't complain🙋 It was £11.50 with a hot drink too which I thought was really reasonable 💰
@acklamhall is one of my favourite buildings and they do the best afternoon tea ☕ I can't wait to return next month to celebrate my Grandma's 70th with all the family over a festive afternoon tea🎄😍
What do people call their evening meal? I always say tea, but it was always a topic of conversation when I was at uni! Is it just a Teesside thing? Is it tea or dinner for you and where are you from🤔👇. 📸 Cafe Lilli - I could just eat this 🤤
